A citizen from Issy-les-Moulineaux has developed an application (‘Orientissyme’) using Citadel and local health information provided in the local open data platform. He spoke to local press about the ease of utilising the Citadel platform: “It is simple: everything is ready for a person to quickly and easily use open data provided by the cities to integrate them into tomorrow’s applications." His application incorporates information on the exact locations of nearby defibulators, defibrillators, disabled access areas, bus stops accessible to disabled people and hospitals/pharmacies in the city. This app represents an important time saver in emergency situations. Currently, it can be downloaded from the GoogleStore with versions for iPhone and Windows8 being developed in the coming months.
